Museum Shop

The Kunstmuseum Stuttgart was able to win the nationally renowned specialist-bookseller, Fachbuchhandlung Walther König, for its Museum Shop. Over 140 square meters, the Cologne-based bookseller specializing in museums offers a large selection of titles on the museum’s collection, art historical scholarship from the Middle Ages to the present, aesthetic theory, photography, architecture, and design. On a constantly changing display area, one finds all current international exhibition catalogues. Selected international journals and art-educational children’s books are as much a part of the program as the nearly one-thousand art postcards, reproductions, and posters. The Artshop offers enticing merchandise from the museum and selected design items.
