Kubus. Sparda Art Prize 2024

The “Kubus. Sparda Art Prize” is being awarded for the sixth time in 2024. Established jointly by the Sparda Bank Baden-Württemberg and the Kunstmuseum Stuttgart, the prize honors an outstanding achievement in the field of the visual arts. It is aimed at artists who were born in Baden-Württemberg or who have a close connection to the state through their artistic work.

This year’s nominees are three artists whose work belongs to the genre of drawing: Thomas Müller (b. 1959, Frankfurt am Main), Gabriela Oberkofler (b. 1975, Bolzano, Italy), and Jürgen Palmtag (b. 1951, Schwenningen am Neckar). Each will exhibit their works in separate rooms at the Kunstmuseum Stuttgart. A jury will determine the winner during the run of the exhibition. A public-choice award will also be granted by the Sparda-Bank Baden-Württemberg.
