Mit Bars, Plattenläden und spontanen Sessions spielte der Kleine Schlossplatz in Stuttgart schon immer eine wichtige Rolle als Keimzelle musikalischer Trends. Das Kunstmuseum zollt diesem besonderen urbanen Ort mit einem einzigartigen Festival Tribut, bei dem etablierte ebenso wie junge lokale Bands auftreten, die eine Verbindung zum Kleinen Schlossplatz hatten oder haben. Die Musiker:innen lassen sich für das Festival von Kunstwerken inspirieren, die aktuell im Kunstmuseum ausgestellt sind.

With its bars, record stores, and spontaneous music sessions, the Kleine Schlossplatz in Stuttgart has always played an important role as a hotbed of musical trends. The Kunstmuseum is paying tribute to this special urban site with a unique festival featuring established as well as young local bands that have or had a connection to the Kleine Schlossplatz. The musicians take their inspiration for the festival from works of art currently on display at the Kunstmuseum.
