Great Little Artists

This exhibition presented the results of the project “Great Little Artists,” which was initiated by the Kunstmuseum Stuttgart and sponsored by the Robert Bosch Stiftung. The goal behind this two-year model project is not only to offer ongoing art education, but also to foster creativity and develop the sensory faculties as well as strengthen the role of artistic and aesthetic schooling in children at the kindergarten level. Four Stuttgart daycare centers with preschool teachers and museum educators especially trained for the purpose are putting new forms of communicating art to children to the test. When the project reaches its conclusion, the Kunstmuseum will extend this offer to all daycare centers in the region.
